Paul Mooney, American

Paul Mooney is probably one of the funniest comedians around that most people don't know. He wrote for Richard Pryor, Dave Chapelle, Good Times, In Living Color, and Saturday Night Live. He makes most of his money from the writing and not his tours. He writes on one subject only, race. Hey Tim Allen made a career out of home building. If you were to find one of his albums it would cost probably $300.00. This man says what a lot of Black people want to say but are too scared to get fired.

This man did "Negrodamus", "Homey 'da Clown", and the Pryor/Chase job interview. He helped kick off the careers of Tim Reid, Marsha Warfield, Sandra Bernhard, and Robin Williams. He helped write along with Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor "Blazing Saddles".

The one thing that Mooney have on his side is the truth. When you use truth in comedy there is no rebuttal. What Paul does is hold up the mirror of truth and some people hate what they see, themselves.
