shake your rump 2 the funk:Bar-Kay's

I shut them down

Note to GretaWire bloggers
by Greta Van Susteren

Because I promised you the behind the scenes, I figure I should alert you to the fact there is a good chance that I will shut down GretaWire soon. As you might have guessed, it is really time consuming (I do it alone) and I am trying to think what else I can do on the web. I would like to expand into other areas. It has been lots of fun blogging and building GretaWire with all of you but I, probably like you, like to dream about doing other things - whatever that may be. You know I love technology, and I love to learn — and thus I may want to try something completely different on the web. I am reaching out for new ideas. If you have some ideas, post them as I am open for ideas (and actually seeking them.)

We support whatever you decide to do Greta.
I felt sickened last night when I signed on and saw all the hatred. There are people who will have won…the “Kid Funkadelics” whose purpose has been to shut down the information sharing, and because of that, I feel a little bothered. I will hope that isn’t your reason.

I will miss my ability to exercise my first amendment right here and I will miss my “blog friends” but I will miss most of all, feeling as though I had a voice.
Thank you for your efforts and hard work.

Juan Williams statements about Michelle Obama

E. Faye Williams, Esq. and Stephanie E. Myers,

Black Women for Obama for Change

WASHINGTON, D.C. Recently, we watched the Bill O'Reilly Show on Fox TV and
were very disappointed to hear an extremely negative message from National
Public Radio Correspondent Juan Williams regarding a woman we love and
respect—our new First Lady Michelle Obama. In the past, it has been the
practice of national journalists to give in-coming Presidents and their
families a "honeymoon" period. We are, therefore, troubled that Juan
Williams would disregard this practice by maligning Mrs. Obama with pointed
and disrespectful remarks saying she was like "Stokely Carmichael in a
designer dress."

First, Stokely Carmichael (aka Kwame Ture') is a deceased African American
male figure of the 1960's who made many contributions to America during the
SNCC sit-ins of the Civil Rights era. It is inappropriate to use his memory
as a weapon to try to smear the beautiful image of our new First Lady.
Second, we resent the sexist and bizarre attempt to compare the nation's
elegant and graceful First Lady to a man in a dress. Third, Mr. Williams'
suggestion on Fox News that Mrs. Obama could potentially be an "albatross
around the President's neck" is an outrage!

Within just a week Michelle Obama has helped her husband to establish a
wholesome positive image of a husband and wife who love each other and who
care deeply for their children. For Mr. Williams to make such negative
comments about Mrs. Obama within the first 7 days of the new Obama
Administration suggests that he is trying to position himself as a critic
who plans to engage in highly personal and insulting comments about the
First Family. This behavior is below the standards of *even* the Bill
O'Reilly Show and certainly below the standards of a National Public Radio

In the midst of one of the worst financial situations in our national
history, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are working
hard to bring unity to a deeply divided nation and to build bi-partisanship.
It is unfortunate that Mr. Williams has chosen to take such a negative
approach during this traumatic time. We need journalists of high character
who will help the American people understand the complex policy issues that
we face -- not to engage in petty and personal remarks. We hope that Juan
Williams' display of negative journalism and character assassination will
cease immediately and that he will issue a public apology to Mrs. Obama.

Juan this is from me Kid, OK. This is also for the RNC's new head Michael Steele.KISS MY MOTHER FUCKING ASS YOU TWO SORRY PIECES OF SHIT.You are quislings, toms, punks,Minstrels and cowards.

Meanwhile our fearless heroine Governor Sarah Palin will attend a private political dinner.
An exclusive Washington, D.C. club for the rich and powerful, founded in 1913. Its sole purpose is to hold an annual banquet each January honoring the birthday of General Robert E. Lee. There are approximately 200 members. Each member is eligible to bring up to two guests to the $200-a-plate dinner. The club always serves filet mignon and lobster.

No press coverage is allowed inside the banquet hall and the proceedings are ostensibly secret, but the Washington newspapers always seem to get a fairly detailed blow-by-blow description anyway. Regardless, the congenial atmosphere lends itself to politically-incorrect humor. In essence the event is just another roast, providing one more showcase for Washington bigwigs to unveil their professionally-written jokes.

Just for fun, the Alfalfa Club leadership nominates a presidential candidate every year (not just election years). The candidate is required to deliver an acceptance speech at the event. Past nominees include: General Glen E. Edgerton, Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson (1953), Merle Thorpe (1955), Senator Prescott Bush (1959), Richard M. Nixon (1965), Ronald Reagan (1974), George H.W. Bush, Dick Lugar (1996), George W. Bush (1998), Alan Simpson (1999), James Wolfensohn (2000), John McCain (2001), Ted Stevens (2003), and Jack Valenti (2004).

Yes it's a joke dinner and she's the joke. She don't get it,but she will soon.Someone will nominate her for President, then she would have to give a speech.I feel sorry for the people of Alaska.

No joy in Muddville.

These fools are at it again. at least they aren't using really, REALLY bad racist words. They are mad at me.

The poster called Kidfunkadelic has his own website. He baits you with racist talk, then copies and pastes your replies to his website, telling everyone that Gretawire is racist, and all the posters are hate mongers.

The other day, one of his posters on his own site said he used to work with these guys who come on here. He said one poster would post under 5 or 6 names to make everyone think there were a lot of Obama supporters. So, unless you want your posts stolen and re-posted on kidfunkadelic’s site, I’d suggest you ignore his baiting. He screws up and forgets to change his names from time to time, like tonight. Just a word to the wise.
**************That is a very cowardly thing this man has done. I have read his posts many times. He is the most unhappiest person. He needs to find out why.
On the contrary it seems to me that it’s the republican’s that come here daily are the unhappy ones, with good reason’s for a few day’s, but after a week or so you should have gotten use to your big loss and come together with the democratic party and try to bring peace and less war into our Country and even around the world.

I’m confused.
How can nearly 2 million black people get into
Washington DC in sub zero temps in 1 day
when 200,000 couldn’t get out of
New Orleans at 85 degrees with four days notice?
They weren’t notified ahead of time that they were about to get something for nothing.
And there was some pretty sorry response and execution by the Mayor of New Orleans and the
Governor of Louisiana.

The racism on Gretawire is getting worse and worse.

January 13th, 2009 11:47 AM Eastern
Somehow someone from Gretawire got into the Newshound forum page and copied the conservation. They seem worried

any thought?
by Greta Van Susteren

I have fought for the First Amendment both as a lawyer and in my current job…I have not deleted nasty comments about me here on GretaWire because of my devotion to the First Amendment …I have, however, deleted racist comments but the truth is deleting them is a full time job and I can’t do it as I don’t have the time. I already do GretaWire alone and the task of sorting postings is overwhelming — to give you an idea, we should hit 40,000,000 hits today or tomorrow. So I am perplexed what to do.. I really don’t understand why some are such pigs. I do understand a difference in opinion on issues and policy….but racial discrimination?? Or gender discrimination which is another giant problem?? What’s with that? Any thought??

The racism there is getting worse and worse.
Greta has just made a post on what to do about it.
Here's a little ditty I copied just the other day

Why should Obama’s niglets be defended ? Look how the Dems. treated the Palin children. The niglets will get the same treatment

I just love your language, Joan. You sound just like my father. Keep up the good work.
What is the definition of a niglet?

The term “niglets” has been around for many years. When I was young, the black children called us chicklets, and we called them niglets.
Yes, but children dont know any better, unless their parents teach them right from wrong. Just because the terms have been around for many years does not mean that they should be used.
Children are off-limits, please.
You talking about the two little niglets soon to be roaming the White House?""

I posted a thread here a week or so ago about Team Sarah being infiltrated by, "Left Wingers" and this carried over to Gretawire. It quickly turned into every racist post was made by a secret liberal doing it. Which is clearly not the case. Many regulars were posting racist comments and rarely were they chided by other posters. The other excuse they used was race baiters are causing the problems. However, race baiters don't make you racist. YOU make yourself racist.

It should be interesting to see how they play this. The obvious guess is that Liberals will be blamed for all the racist posts. Kid Funkedelic in particular, that guy drives the Gretawire bloggers insane.
Anyway, here's the link:

Yes, and they usually make vile racist or vulgar comments when they do it. People who blog here alot realize when someone’s name has been jacked, but those who don’t are shocked. There are people who come to Greta’s blog just to stir up hate and argue with people. Most are liberals who think it’s funny to turn Greta’s blog into a trashy site. There are even some liberal sites who send out bloggers to conservative sites and try to bait people into saying racist and sexist things. Some have been caught doing it lately and reported to the FCC..

I know who Kid Funkadelic is….Kid Funkadelic is actually 5-7 guys that go to school in Illinois and are part of an offshoot from Acorn and the Young Progressive Democrats. I wont say any of their names but just know that their goal/mission is to Hijack all the Popular Blogs on the ‘net. They have hit all the sites that are or have favorable fans of Sarah Palin. They change the subject, usually to Racism every time in the hopes that you will say something bad about Obama being black and then save the screenshots as proof in the hopes of discrediting whomever they oppose, in this case Sarah who runs again in 2010 for re-election, they will send the negative/rascist comments to the press along with their proof (screenshots) to any and all who will listen to show that Palin supporters and yes, conservatives/republicans are rascist bigots. Do not fall for this. do not engage in his rhetoric. Kid Funkadelic will go away and re-emerge as another name and try the same tactic again and again. Remember, the goal is to get you off topic and bait you. I know…Im a former member. Yes I quit the group doing this but not out of morals (by working w/ them I proved I have none) but because they owe me money.

What is wrong with some people?
by Greta Van Susteren

This is twisted….what is wrong with some people? What is with this guy and his partner that they need to be so mean spirited? And it is always people less accomplished than their target who do this….it must make them feel important…the West Hollywood couple - Chad Morrisette and his partner Mito Avilies - can only dream of being the governor of the largest state in the union because they sure don’t seem like leaders!

West Hollywood couple behind Sarah Palin effigy run afoul of EBay

Palinefigy Yes, the noose is still included.

For those who already have the Obama hope poster, the McCain maverick button and the Joe the Plumber T-shirt, there is one more kitsch -– though more controversial -– item for the comprehensive 2008 presidential campaign collection: the Sarah Palin effigy that caused a bit of an uproar outside one West Hollywood home and prompted Keith Olbermann to name the homeowner “Worst Person in the World.”

Chad Michael Morrisette, a professional window-display designer, and his partner, Mito Aviles, put the Palin mannequin up for auction on EBay last week, complete with red coat, beehive wig, glasses — and with a noose still hanging around its neck.

Glen Beck is Squarer than a block.

I put this cartoon up because I didn't want to put a FOX embed of Glen Beck up.I put up something to show him what cool is.It seems Glen has a problem with what Rev.Jeremiah Wright...I mean Rev.Joseph Lowery said. Rev. Lowery was one of the people that march and was beaten with Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.Here's the quote:

"We ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to give back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead, man, and when white will embrace what is right."

I know Glen Bigot is square but I didn't know how much. This is an old black hipster expression. Here's how it goes:black stay back, brown stick around, yellow mellow fellow, red can get ahead, white is alright. It meant the different shades of BLACK PEOPLE!!Of course you didn't get it,you are squarer than a block,it's from the 40's.When he updated it to mean inclusion, of course you hated it.You don't like that everybody is equal crap do you?

"Is this how the post-racial Obama administration begins? That someday the brown can stick around, the yellow can remain mellow, and the white will embrace what's right?"

Glen that's not what he meant and you know it.You're trying to inject racism to a place where it's not

"Even at the inauguration of a black president, we are being called racist."

No Glen, I call you racist at a highway opening if I could. You think I forgot where you played dumb and repeated the word monkey ad nauseaum .You said you could not find anything racist in it.Now if I said moron you would pitch a bitch. You know that it's a pejorative term for a Mormon ,which you are.I would never call you that.So before you comment on something ,learn about it first.See that's the thing about black people we know so much about your culture, but you know none of ours.Congratulations on your new job at FOX.When the Fairness Doctrine is reinstated you need to find a new line of work.Hope you got your C.V. ready, jobs are hard to come by in this economy.

Inauguration attack?

The following is from Hal Turner's website. Hal was/is a friend of Sean Hannity. Sean Hannity invited him to the studio and to his home in Lloyd Harbor to sleep.I think someone should investigate Hal and Sean NOW !!!

Inauguration attack? NONE OF THEM ARE INNOCENT
I have received a ton of e-mails about my dreaming of potential methods for attacking the upcoming presidential inauguration. Most tell me how easily such efforts can be defeated while others scream about "killing innocent people." Lets set the record straight: With regard to anyone attending the inauguration, none of them are innocent.

What we will have in Washington, DC this coming Tuesday is the biggest collection of lying, thieving, conniving political scum on the face of the earth, elected by some of the dumbest voters ever to plague a country, attempting to take part in the most blatant usurpation of the US Constitution in the history of our republic.

Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen and thus is ineligible to be president. Yet no member of The House of Representatives, no member of The Senate, no member of the Supreme Court, no member of the outgoing administration and no member of law enforcement agency is raising even one finger to "support and defend the Constitution" from this blatant usurpation. As such, they are ALL guilty.

That covers the government and law enforcement, now let's talk about the crowd: The faces you will see in the inaugural crowd will look like a scene from planet of the apes. To the average American viewer, there will not be a single more powerful image that I or anyone else could offer to show just how different and completely inferior, they truly are.

Intermixed in the huddled mass of sub-human simians, will be mentally-ill Whites who call themselves Liberals and who think it ever so grand that the first black president will be sworn in. Wiping out these two segments of the population (sub-humans and mentally-ill liberal whites) would be a public service!

I won't say what may happen Tuesday but I will say this: After Tuesday, the name Hal Turner may live in infamy.

Let it be known that I saw what was necessary and decided to do what had to be done. I make no apology to those affected or to their families.

Obama said yesterday that “we need a new bill of rights” “freedom from bigotry”. Do you know what he means by that? Let me decode it for you. Freedom from bigotry means outlawing saying something like “muslim torror ists”. The U.N. world court is right now trying to outlaw such speech internationally. If Barack trashes our 1st. amendment you will see people going to jail for what they are saying. In Europe last year a man wrote a letter to the editor complaining about the “hordes of immigrants raping white girls”. Of course he was talking about Muslims gang raping white girls. They felt it was justified because these “sluts” were walking around without covering their heads like a proper muslim girl. I’m not making this up, do a google search and you can find stuff like this in European newspapers.
So do you want to lose our 1st. amendment? Do you want to see Americans being arrested by international cops and taken to the Hague for trial? Do you want to see book writers and reporters arrested for using a racial epithet like “Muslim terror ists”? How about those Danish cartoons? Should the cartoonists go to jail too? Is that the CHANGE Obama says you have mandated by electing him? WAKE UP AMERICA and hear what he’s actually saying.

Why would someone who had nothing to hide refuse the simple act of releasing his records. It’s not as if he were a private person. He chose to become our employee. Employers demand these details all of the time and we are forced to release them.
I guess there are too many people who are scared of being called a racist. MLK dreamed of a color blind society, too bad Obama does not believe in this.

frank marshall Davis was associated with Malcom X and Bill Ayers.
Again, no coincidence Obama got hooked up with Ayers and subsequently Michelle. Ayers’ wife, Bernadine Dohrn and Obama’s mother’s paths crossed too.
michelle Obama worked with Dohrn. She also worked with Bill Ayers’ father and brother, Jond and the late Thomas Ayers.
The Ayers connection goes way deeper.
Ayers never met Malcolm.

Sasquatch utterance: The Mistress of Mouth gave this statement about her kids in an interview to Glamour Magazine: “My hope and my gut is that I am just Mommy. We have this ritual in the morning. They come in my bed (emphasis added), and if Daddy isn’t there-because he’s too snore-y and stinky, they don’t want to ever get into bed with him. But we cuddle up and we talk about everything from what is a period to the big topic of when we get a dog: what kind?”

She may become first broad, first baby-mamma, or first ho, but she will never have the poise, class, and dignity to be First Lady of The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

And your sasquatch beast wants to be paid for being first ho!

I’ve studied it. They are rehab facilities. No I wasnt a guest. If he started using drugs at 15 and didnt stop until 28. thats 13 years that he didnt mentally mature. His actual brain chemistry. Look it up, I dont have time to explain it to someone who is close minded.

It all depends on the amount used, how long used, what was used, and in what quantities. Obamas drug admissions to me were more like he did a few lines at a party several times. I also beleive, Obama speaks the language he wants his audience to ” fall for him” . That speech he made about drug use was with college kids or Highschool kids I beleive, and he was trying to fit in to be cool. He blows with the wind….pun intended.

Will all those people bring there own drugs, or do they expect them to be provided?

That’s the day I’m going downtown and watch a homeless wino puke on my new boots.
Can’t watch as I will be cutting my toe nails….very very slow…and what a shame as I would have loved to see his Grandma and relatives from Kenya that we are paying for to come over…

It’s such a game! They are the dividers, NOT the uniters, in fact, they actually fear unity of the masses……for darn good reason, I bet!

“They are the dividers, NOT the uniters, in fact, they actually fear unity of the masses…” BREAKING NEWS!!! The “masses” are united. For confirmation, watch Barack Obama’s inauguration one week from today IF YOU DARE! You IGNORANT people have divided yourselves from the majority in this country and from your own political party!
I see that The One has passed around fresh kool-aide for all. Half of us do not drink the kool-aide. Yes, I said half, because the # of votes BO received can probably be accounted for by dead people, illegals, multiple voting, counting errors, etc. So I say he’s divided the country in half. JMO.

Drinking kool aid, dead people, illegals, … You need to get some new “points for discussion” from Limbaugh and Klannity! Obama hasn’t divided the country in half. YOU PEOPLE are a very small minority. Again, you have divided yourselves from your own political party. Your ignorance is a disgrace to this country and to the Republican party!
Your opinion means nothing to me. WE are not a “small” minority.

It shouldn't happen to a dog.

Comparison and Contrast

In D.C. this is big news. Barack gets a Half-Smoke,that's like a Polish Boy with chili, no cole slaw. They eat this a lot in Washington. What was big was first this is the "hood". This is not Downtown. He could have went to a "better" place, but he was keeping it real. The two articles that follows give a eyewitness account and someone that phone it in. I thought it would make it interesting.

Inauguration Countdown: One Big Mess

I haven't been in much of a blogging mood in the past week as I've been busy stocking my cupboards with rations ahead of Clusterfuck 2009, happening in just over a week at this point. I absolutely, completely, definitely understand the necessity for tight security for the Inauguration, but dare I suggest that things are out of control?

If you have been paying attention to what's happening and you don't live in the D.C. metro area, let me suggest that you will get more of a bird's eye view of how planning is going and Obama's latest moves around the city by checking out D.C. metro news (WJLA, WUSA, FOX 5 DC, NBC 4, DC Examiner), rather than just national news. For instance, imagine my disgust when I saw on the local ABC affiliate's website earlier today that Obama had stopped by a D.C. landmark, Ben's Chili Bowl, for a "bite to eat" with Mayor Adrian Fenty. While watching the video, I nearly lost my dinner when I heard him say, "Naw, we're straight" trying to use "hood" vernacular. Oh, the horror. He makes me sick. If I had been in there yesterday, I would have been rolling my eyes so much, the Secret Service might have made me leave.

Anyway, take a look at these local stories to get an idea of just how much of a mess this Inauguration Coronation is going to be. --SUGAR

WASHINGTON — What does the president-elect order on his first Saturday afternoon since moving into town? A chili dog and cheese fries.

Barack Obama dropped in Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat with Washington's mayor, Adrian Fenty, at Ben's Chili Bowl, the venerable diner in Washington's U Street district.

Obama said it was his first time visiting Ben's Chili Bowl and "it was terrific." The expectation is that Obama _ already at ease in big cities from his time in Chicago _ will venture into town more than President George W. Bush, who rarely made forays into unofficial Washington.

After Obama's motorcade wandered through the U street district, passing the African-American Civil War Memorial and a flea market selling shirts that bear his face, he and Fenty surprised the restaurant around lunchtime. Patrons shrieked with delight and surprise as they saw his face. A mother blushed as Obama held her baby in his arms. The president-elect and the mayor moved slowly through the restaurant's crowded rooms, shaking hands and getting pictures taken with patrons.

Still, they came there to eat. "Where the food at?" he finally asked the counter staff, drawing laughs from them and nearby patrons.

He and Fenty ordered a house specialty, a Chili Half-Smoke _ a quarter-pound half pork and beef smoked sausage on a steamed bun with mustard, onions and chili sauce _ along with a big helping of some cheese fries.

They found a small table. They had the popular food. They even chatted it up with nearby customers at their tables. But something was still missing: the shredded cheese. Obama yelled for some _ "not the Velveeta" kind, he said _ and it was quickly delivered.

Word must have gotten out he was in the area: After Obama and Fenty had their meal and left the building, dozens of people who had lined up before security barriers cheered him on as walked toward his motorcade.

Al Franken stole the election? Prove it or shut up

Al Franken stole the election? Prove it or shut up

The recount shows that he won the Minnesota Senate race. The lying liars who say otherwise have no evidence of cheating.

By Joe Conason

Al Franken speaks to reporters outside his home in Minneapolis Monday after being declared the winner over incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

Jan. 9, 2009 | If Al Franken were not a longtime public figure -- and thus severely handicapped by American jurisprudence -- he could file a powerful complaint for libel or slander against several of the most prominent wingnuts in the United States. From Rush Limbaugh to Bill O'Reilly to Richard Mellon Scaife, a chorus of familiar voices is loudly defaming the Democrat whose razor-thin win in the Minnesota Senate race will now be tested in that state's courts. Ever since Election Day, on radio and television, on the Internet and in print, they've screamed that Franken is stealing, rigging, pilfering, scamming, thieving and cheating his way to victory.

These media figures, some of whom occasionally pretend to be journalists, have spewed such accusations repeatedly, without offering any proof whatsoever -- in plain contradiction of the available facts. Not only is there no evidence that Franken or his campaign "cheated" in any way during the election or the recount, but there is ample reason to believe that the entire process was fair, balanced and free from partisan taint.

For Franken's most famous adversaries, spewing lies about him may be a form of cheap revenge. A prime example is Fox News host O'Reilly, who has hated Franken for years, dating back to when the comedian and author berated him in a public debate, then exposed him in "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them," and ultimately provoked him into filing an ill-advised lawsuit that only generated vast amounts of free publicity for Franken's book before the suit was thrown out of court. Of course O'Reilly was preceded by Limbaugh, that "big fat idiot" whose deceptions and bigotry were featured in the comedian's first bestselling book way back in 1996.

So Limbaugh, quoting an erroneous editorial from the Wall Street Journal, has been ranting about the supposed theft of the Minnesota election for months now. "We did not elect Al Franken," he told a caller on Jan. 5. "He stole the race. They are stealing the race up there blind in front of everybody's nose. They are counting absentee ballots [which election officials are required to do by law]. ... They're counting votes twice -- votes that were rejected, all kinds of things [which election officials ordered after determining that some votes were rejected wrongly]. That's just -- the Democrats are stealing the election up there." Even the Journal's tendentious and sloppy screeds have never quite accused Franken of "stealing" the race or the recount. Rush just made that part up.

On Jan. 7, O'Reilly hosted an appearance by Dick Morris, the former Clinton consultant who lost his job for consorting with a prostitute and has gone into business selling himself to the highest Republican bidder. Aside from Fox News, Morris seems to appear with the greatest frequency on, the popular right-wing Web site owned by Scaife and operated by Christopher Ruddy, a journalist known mainly for his fanciful theories about the Vince Foster suicide.

"Al Franken -- you think he's cheating?" intoned O'Reilly, as if he didn't know the answer.

"Yeah, I think there's funny business -- funny business going on in Franken's thing," replied Morris, as if he knew exactly what he was talking about. "Sure, he's cheating, and sure that Minnesota's doing it for him. I mean, there's no question that there's cheating going on ... This is outright larceny. This is just a total theft."

But he offered no evidence to support that incendiary accusation, on the O'Reilly broadcast or in the Newsmax column he published that same day, headlined "Stop Al Franken From Stealing the Election." (That column included a link to the Republican National Lawyers Association, which is raising money to assist Coleman's election lawsuit, with a direct endorsement from Morris.) Instead he complained about a few instances in which he disagrees with decisions by the Minnesota courts and election officials, and in particular with the special panel that oversaw the recount. How those disagreements amount to "cheating" or "stealing" by Franken he did not bother to explain.

All the usual suspects have echoed these false charges across the airwaves and the Internet. What they invariably neglect to mention is that the Minnesota Canvassing Board, whose decisions have so displeased the Republican right, was impeccably nonpartisan. Nobody in their right mind in Minnesota believes that the board was biased -- and, in fact, Powerline blogger Scott Johnson, no friend of Democrats or Franken, has specifically spoken up to defend it. "There was no noticeable partisan division among the board," he wrote. "Minnesotans are justifiably proud of the transparency and fairness of their work."

Two of its five members are Supreme Court judges appointed by Tim Pawlenty, the state's conservative Republican governor, each with a long record of loyal service to the GOP; a third is a nonpartisan elected judge; a fourth was appointed by former independent Gov. Jesse Ventura; and only one, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, is a Democrat. At the outset, Coleman's own lawyers accepted the panel's membership, as did everyone else, including Franken, who might have protested that his own party had only one member.

Their decisions against Coleman, which led to Franken's provisional victory by 225 votes, were unanimous. It is this group, composed of distinguished judges with spotless reputations, whose hard work has been described in odious terms by the likes of Morris, Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.

Here's a challenge to all those lying liars. In essence, they have accused my friend Franken of a felony under Minnesota law. If they know of any evidence that would show he has stolen votes or violated any election statute, let them report it to the state law enforcement authorities. And if they don't, perhaps they will at last have the decency to shut up.

No room at the inn.

Republicans are calling him the Messiah so much they are now going to treat him like him and refuse him room at the inn.

In December, President-elect Obama asked the White House if he and his family could move into Blair House — the White House’s guest house — a week early, so that his daughters Malia and Sasha could start school. The White House rebuffed them, saying the house was already booked for another guest. A White House source added that “Blair House was appalled” by the request.

After weeks of speculation, the mystery guest that trumps the President-elect and his family has finally been revealed. The White House offered the house to John Howard, the former Prime Minister of Australia who is set to receive a Medal of Freedom. Instead of arranging other accommodations for Howard’s one-night stay, the Bush administration told the Obama family to stay in a hotel for two weeks. (Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Colombian President Álvaro Uribe, who are also receiving the Medal of Freedom, opted to find other accommodations.)

Last night on MSNBC’s “Countdown,” Bloomberg journalist Margaret Carlson revealed that when the White House turned down Obama’s request in early December, it had not yet even invited Howard to stay at the Blair House:

I reported…on December 11 and 12 that there were no foreign dignitaries booked into Blair House during that period of time. … I have the feeling they asked him [Howard] to come and stay so that there might be some plausible reason for not letting the Obamas stay there.

She also pointed out that Blair House has “119 rooms with 35 bathrooms. Howard wouldn’t even have to share a sink with the Obamas.” Watch it:

That the White House choose to prioritize the former prime minister of Australia over the incoming President of the United States emphasizes Bush’s sense of loyalty. Howard, a darling of the right wing, was one of Bush’s biggest cheerleaders whom Bush has called his “mate of steel” for standing with him on Iraq and being the only leader of an industrialized nation — besides Bush, of course — to refuse to sign the Kyoto Protocol.

Still, supplanting the incoming President with Howard seems like a final, petty kick in the teeth from Bush.

Cosmic Slop

Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh, hear my mother call
Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh, hear my mother call
I was one of five born to my mother
An older sister and three young brothers
We've seen it hard, we've seen it kind of rough
But always with a smile, she was sure to try to hide
The fact from us that life was really tough
I can hear my mother call
I can hear my mother call (Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh)
Late at night I hear her call
Oh lord, lord I hear her call
She said, "Father, father it's for the kids (Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh)
Any and every thing I did.
Please, please don't judge me too strong.
Lord knows I meant no wrong.
Lord knows I meant no wrong."
Then the devil sang
"Would you like to dance with me? (Ooh-ahh-ooh)
We're doin' the cosmic slop." (Ooh-ahh-ooh)
She was well known through the ghetto
Tricks would come and then they'd go
The neighbors would talk and call her Jezebel
But always with a smile, she was sure to try to hide
The fact from us that she was catching hell, hey!
Hear my mother call
I can hear my mother call (Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh)
Late at night I hear her call
Oh lord, lord I hear her call
She says, "Father, father it's for the kids (Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh)
Any and every thing I did.
Please, please don't judge me too strong.
Lord knows I meant no wrong.
Lord knows I meant no wrong."
(Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh)
Hear my mother call
(Ahhh, ahh-ah-ahhhhh)
Hear my mother call

Meet Obama’s Other Inauguration Pastor

I got this from the Jews against Obama website.Don't worry there are pro Jewish Obama sites .These fools are attacking a guy that marched with MLK and gotten the shit beaten out of him.
Posted by jtfdotorg on December 31, 2008

There has been an uproar over Obama’s choice of Pastor Rick Warren delivering the inaugural invocation. However, we shouldn’t ignore Obama’s choice of Reverend Joseph Lowery, who is just an older version of Jeremiah Wright.

A venerated veteran of the Civil Rights Movement, Lowery followed the leftward trajectory of many civil rights colleagues, whose political alliances with white liberals yanked them away from the theological conservatism of traditional black churches. Although his United Methodist denomination prohibits it, Lowery supports same-sex unions. And he affirms abortion rights. Lowery has joined Cindy Sheehan’s anti-war demonstrators outside President Bush’s Crawford ranch, opining that Iraqi mothers believe U.S. troops are “terrorists.” He once linked arms with PLO terrorist Yasser Arafat and sang “We Shall Overcome.” He believes that the U.S. Government was complicit in Martin Luther King’s assassination, and that the CIA has imported drugs from Central America. When Daniel Ortega headed the Sandinista Marxist dictatorship in Nicaragua, Lowery hosted a reception for him in Atlanta. He apparently was a formal advisor to the now defunct Christic Institute, a 1980’s era litigator that alleged that the Iran-Contra episode was merely the cog of a 30 year long “secret team” conspiracy governing U.S. foreign policy.

In 2006, Lowery created media waves by exploiting Coretta Scott King’s funeral to declare with his usual political banality: “We know now there were no weapons of mass destruction over there. But Coretta knew and we know that there are weapons of misdirection right down here. Millions without health insurance. Poverty abounds. For war billions more but no more for the poor!” Such verbiage has been common for Lowery, now age 87, at United Methodist and other church functions over the years. His oratorical blasts are always vapidly left-wing and assume America has only degenerated since 1968.

“You could get away with anything as long as you said you were fighting communism,” Lowery exclaimed at a 2000 banquet of the United Methodist Board of Church and Society in Cleveland. “We demonized the saints and canonized the Devil!,” is how he described America’s role in the Cold War. “We’ve sown the seed and now we’re reaping the whirlwind.”

Dismissive of the then recent forcible return of little Elian Gonzalez to Castro’s Cuba by the Clinton Administration, Lowery scoffingly asked: “What if Reagan had ordered the raid in Miami!” And he sarcastically complained, “We’re still fearful of the great empire of Cuba.” Lowery claimed conservatives would make God “male, white [and] racist,” that affirmative action was “born in the New Testament, not the Nixon Administration,” that America sends “smart bombs on dumb missions,” that America’s criminal justice system in 1999 was “almost a replica of the system of 1909,” and that capital punishment by lethal injection was something the “Nazis started.” Of America’s military and its “don’t ask, don’t tell policy,” he asserted: “If you deceive you can be a general, but if you’re honest you can’t serve.”

Four years later, Lowery again spoke to the same United Methodist audience, this time in Pittsburgh, speaking just as incorrigibly as ever, urging the church to take a sinful America “down by the riverside.” Repeating the usual bromides about the poorer getting poorer at the hands of the rich, he called low minimum wages and the absence of socialized medicine “weapons of mass destruction.” And he urged beating missiles into “morsels of bread” and tanks into tractors. “Don’t we have something better to offer the world than swords and missiles and smart bombs on stupid missions?” he asked. “The God I serve loves the motherless child in Baghdad as much as he loves the motherless child in Boston,” he declared, implying that his targets do not care about Iraqi children.

Lowery blamed America’s supposed “re-segregation” on “these judges appointed by [Presidents] Reagan and Bush.” The 2000 election in Florida proved that some Americans are still denied voting rights, resulting in Bush’s being “selected” rather than elected, he claimed. Denouncing the U.S. War on Terror, Lowery asserted: “We’ve have done more to help Bin Laden in his demagoguery than anything I know of” by killing and outraging Muslims. After sarcastically asking if President Bush were a fellow United Methodist, Lowery smilingly responded to the left-wing crowd’s audible disapproval: “Don’t blame me; I didn’t let him in!” And he incomprehensibly compared Bush to segregationist George Wallace.

Such high-toned comments earned Lowery the Robert O. Cooper Peace and Justice Award from the Human Rights Center at Southern Methodist University (SMU) earlier this year, which he received at Munger Place United Methodist Church in Dallas by delivering his usual rambling and politicized sermon. According to the Dallas Morning News, United Methodist and SMU reports, he was dismissive of Christians who affirm traditional teachings about marriage and the sanctity of life, preferring ostensibly more important causes, like opposing the Iraq War. “We have lost too many Americans (in the Iraq war),” he proclaimed. “There are too many Americans who have been injured … millions of Iraqis have been killed, (and) you are worried about someone’s sexuality?

“We have to find out what really matters,” Lowery insisted. “Too many of our people believe that propaganda of looking for weapons of mass destruction. Creating weapons of mass destruction keeps us from focusing on major issues like feeding the hungry and poverty.” He condemned the Bush administration for making “God the god of war, and the god of the rich and powerful.” Lowery evidently shares the typical Religious Left emphasis on political correctness over personal morality. “We need to be discerning about the major issues. Abortion — that’s a minor issue. I’m all for life, but I’m also for freedom of choice. We can’t be the judge of what a woman does with her body. We have too many distractions.”

Naturally, Lowery defended his kindred spirit, Jeremiah Wright. “What’s wrong with Jeremiah Wright’s preaching?” he wondered. “Prophetic preaching has been around in the black church for years. That’s all I do. The only reason why no one says anything about me is because I don’t have a member who is a presidential candidate.”

Appollonia 6-A million miles

(Words by Apollonia 6/Music by Lisa Coleman)

How could I illustrate me love for you?
What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Would you climb the highest mountain?
Would you sail across the sea?

If I were a million miles away would you visit me?

How could I illustrate how much I really care?
How could you do if you were here, my dear, and I was there?
Would you eat a poison apple?
Would you be burned at the stake?

If I were a million miles away would you visit me?

I love you, a million miles, I love you
I love you, a million miles, I love you

If you love me, would you eat a poison apple?
How much would you take?
And would you be burned at the stake?
Where's the dawn? Darkness is death
Don't die, live forever
Say you love me

How could I demonstrate the way you make me feel?
If I walked through fire, would you say my love was real?
You got me crazy, I'd do most anything
If you got in trouble, I'd sell my diamond ring

That's how much I love you, baby, a million miles
I love you, a million miles, I love you
I love you, a million miles, I love you

I love you, a million miles, I love you
I love you, a million miles, I love you

(Somebody, somebody clap your hands)
(Somebody, somebody clap your hands)
Somebody (Somebody clap your hands)
Somebody (Somebody clap your hands)

Wanted for Murder George W.Bush

Hat Tip to Cognitive Continuity for video
One day I was listening to The Michael Baisdens Show . Mike had on Vincent Bugliosi, the guy that prosecuted Charles Manson. He got Manson locked up using racketeering statues.Vincent wants to do one more big case, charge President Bush with 4,000 counts of murder.I was like you when I heard this, crack pot,nut case?Lets look at his track record:

As a Los Angeles County Assistant District Attorney, he successfully prosecuted Charles Manson and several other members of his "family" for the 1969 murders of Sharon Tate and six others. He lost only one of the 106 felony cases he tried as a prosecutor, which included winning 21 out of 21 murder cases.[2] He later wrote, jointly with Curt Gentry, a book about the Manson trial called Helter Skelter. The book went on to become the biggest selling true crime book in publishing history with over 7 million copies sold.[3]

from wikipedia
the man is serious. He explained that each jurisdiction could file charges for the deceased soldiers from that area.People this is real.he even wrote a book about it:

Bugliosi subsequently became an outspoken critic of the media and lawyers and judges in major trials. In his most recent book, titled The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, he made the case that President George W. Bush ought to be prosecuted for murder based on evidence showing that he had lied to the American people into waging a war of aggression.

It sounds like using a sledge hammer to kill a fly.The right is trying to cheat the President elect out of a term, the left want Dubya to get life.Bugliosi said that death penalty specifications could be applied.I think after this people will think real carefully when they run for President.

My husband firmly believes that White Men are currently the most discriminated against. There are so many laws that prohibit discrimination against all others. Just passing that along.
I personally believe that poverty comes from the belief that people have limitations. Generational poverty is self inflicted.
