Cavuto claims that Dr. King was anti-Union

Neil Cavuto claims that Dr. King was really anti-Union and would be against the march that the teachers and their supporters are having in Wisconsin. In steps Lisa Fritsch of Project 21 a Conservative "think" thank if you can call it that. To her Dr. King was marching for all the oppressed white billionaires who can't get justice from those oppressive militant minorities.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself Lisa. Two Black sanititation workers died and you go on TV and lied about it. I guess Project 21 is a group that want to keep blacks in the projects in the 21th Century.

Dr.King died helping unions and was supported by unions. What’s next? Maybe you claim that Emmitt Till committed suicide.

From Wikipedia:

Assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The Lorraine Motel, where King was assassinated, is now the site of the National Civil Rights Museum.On March 29, 1968, King went to Memphis, Tennessee in support of the black sanitary public works employees, represented by AFSCME Local 1733, who had been on strike since March 12 for higher wages and better treatment. In one incident, black street repairmen received pay for two hours when they were sent home because of bad weather, but white employees were paid for the full day”.
Did it feel good to get those 30 pieces of silver after you LIED about something that black people were MURDERED for?

You, the Republican Party, the Tea Party, Conservatives, and the rest HAVE NO CREDIBILITY,YOU ARE ALL LIARS !

Beck can give out dogwhistles for five Policemen to get shot and three died in Pittsburgh. You hold up your fist, and nothing is said. If Jesse Jackson held up his fist at the end of a interview, Sean Klannity would want him tried for treason.

Cavuto is very, very sleazy, of course, and sure enough he's offering that ol' sleazy, sleazy, sleay canard that somehow Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican - and therefore a neocon and therefore a radical WASP nationalist, etc, etc.

Imagine being stupid enough to believe blind people are happy they can't see? Well, that's the kind of moron who spew this kind of nonsense.

King came down to Birmingham to support workers rights. Perhaps more than anything else, King believed that the success of the regular working man was paramount to the success of a great nation.

Cavuto is truly a piece of shit.

The Tea Klux Klanbaggers depend on Cuntvuto and Douchy to tell them what they're supposed to think on any given day, so shit like this from Cuntvuto is to be expected.

And the FOX "News" audience will continue to drop, as more and more of their blue haired racist audience dies, or becomes senile. Actually I might be wrong about that last part; senility is probably good for FOX "News," as it allows them to scare the Bejesus out of their audience over and over again with the same material.

@JMJ and Jolly Roger

Lisa also has a You Tube saying that racism ended and that we should worry about Socialism. The more they bash Unions, the more people may start to approve of Socialism.

@Darth Bacon

What you're quoting are words to a song by a rap group called X Clan. If you don't listen to rap music you wouldn't get the inside joke. Also under the name of the blog are lyrics to a rap song by The Jungle Brothers, son you wouldn't understand.

I'm conservative. And I think Dr. King's awesome.

But King record about public-sector unions is quite clear. Cavuto's quite wrong.

You took the words right out of my mouth Kid when you said Lisa should be ashamed of yourself.If Fox is truly "fair and balanced" like they claim to be, they would have had a liberal guest who would have slapped down the nonsense spouted by Neil and Lisa. It's ironic how they accuse unions of wronly invoking the memory of MLK when they do the same thing by claiming he was a Republican. Whether he was or not is irrelevant (I don't think he was). Even if he was a Republican, I doubt if he'd be one today.

@dmarks

Welcome brother. One question, are you Conservative or Republican? I know that there is a difference. Some people may have Conservaative views because of religious or financial views but still vote Democrat.

@Malcolm

Beck is spouting the same garbage today. The only people that will believe this garbage are old, white racist.

What is Cavuto smoking? A huge part of King jr's platform was education*jobs*equality.
That did not mean shitty exploitative jobs working for *the man* in oppressed held down way.
and he sure did not mean that teachers wages & unions & collective bargaining rights should be held hostage by some tea bag nutcase.

He must have been living in a cave to have missed the core & soul of King's life work.

Maybe somebody declared March as distorted Black History month????

@Fran

Cavuto must have found Charlie Sheen's private stash. He's hooked on Chronics.

Kid: I wish it were just old, white racists who were swallowing this BS about MLK. Unfortunately, there's young people buying it too. I've gotten into debates with younger bloggers who swear up and down that MLK was a Republican. Also, let's not forget it was a black GOP group (The Raging Elephants) who put up the "MLK Was A Republican" billboard. These folks are living proof that ignorance knows no demographic.

By the way, I like your "Hooked on chronics" line... good stuff!
